NYC Al Yegeneh, whom people probably best know (to his eternal chagrin) as the inspiration for Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi", will be rolling out a retail line of "heat-n-serve" soups in select groceries next month, going national with it in September. "The 15-ounce packages of turkey chili, jambalaya and seafood bisque, among other offerings, will cost $3.50-$5.50." Yegeneh's Soup Kitchen International on West 55th is currently closed so until it reopens, unless your grocery carries his products... No soup for you! Sorry, I couldn't resist.
