Oh boy, another Wednesday (Food Section day) and I remain buried under piles of non-afullbelly work. I hope to re-surface soon.

Introducing A Full Belly

Since moving to San Francisco, the most frequently asked question regarding NYC Eats has been, "What are you going to do with the site now?" The answer is, NYC Eats is now A Full Belly, a weblog about eating well. In short:

What's new

• Coverage of the restaurant scenes in New York City AND San Francisco


• New website address and name: A Full Belly http://www.afullbelly.com


• Take Away links are now integrated into the main blog and XML feed


• A regularly updated event listing for NYC and SF/Bay Area.

Think of it as an expanded version of NYC Eats, now including great San Francisco eats (and whatever else I might be fixating on at the moment).

Like all web things, it's a work in progress... comments, suggestions, tips are always welcome!

Radio Silence

Apologies for the radio silence this week as NYC Eats headquarters completes the relocation to San Francisco. Never fear, NYC Eats will march on with regularly scheduled posts returning next week.

New Look

As you probably have noticed, things look a little different around here thanks to the design skills of Colleen. The category "Links to Go" now appears to your left as "Take Away" and includes its own RSS feed. "Archives" and "Categories" can now be accessed via the pull down menus to your right. If you find anything on the site that does not appear to be working properly, please let me know. Thanks!

New feature

I've recently begun documenting some of our dining experiences with my digital camera. Keeping a copy of the menu is nice, but a few words describing the entree or dessert just doesn't trigger the same kind of mouthwatering memories. I'll be posting the photos in the newly created NYC Eats -- In Photos photo album (now linked to from the sidebar to your left) for everyone's enjoyment. Bon appetit!
